As one of the closest resorts to the Great Blue Hole, Blackbird Caye offers a weekly excursion to explore it's depths as well as the nearby Half Moon Caye Natural Monument. If you find yourself needing to cancel a deposit we can help retain the value of your deposit as instore credit and can only be transferred to other international trips.

Arrive in Belize City at the Philip Goldson International Airport BZE by 1:30pm to catch our transfer. A Blackbird Caye representative will meet us and give us a ride to "Old Belize" where we will catch our water transfer boat. The ride out to the resort will take about an hour and a half.

We will have a Welcome Reception and get settled in our rooms. We should have enough time to visit with the dive shop and have our orientation.

Snacks and dinner followed by a dreamy night in our tropical paradise.

We'll have three boat dives per day. We will have pristine reefs to see along with at least one wreck dive. On one day, weather permitting, we will have our excursion to The Great Blue Hole. This will be a three tank day trip to the The Great Blue Hole, Half Moon Caye Wall and The Aquarium. We will have a lunch picnic on one of the islands.

Friday we are taking the day off to start our "time to fly" surface interval so our bodies will be ready for the flight home on Saturday. This is our day to rinse gear and get it dry.

Great day for swimming in the pool or ocean, kayaking and snorkeling in front of the resort.

Boat ride back to Belize City for the flight home. The boat transfer will leave at 8:00am. It is recommended to schedule your return flight to depart BZE 12:30 or after.
